Sarah Js Story - Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome
"Just wanted to send you a quick email to let you know that the Medpac and sickness bags are working out fantastically for us, and I wanted to share our Medpac story.
My daughter suffers form a rare disorder called Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome, CVS for short. She has suffered from this for 5 years and it has been a long journey. Episodes can happen without warning at any time; when an episode starts it is so important that my daughter get the medication she needs quickly and that she has all the other things, such as sick bags, on hand.
Over the years we have tried many different things to keep her medication in and we are so happy we now have Medpacs. We ordered 2 large Medpacs and the sick bags - each bag holds 5 sick bags and all the medication we may need. One bag is kept at school and one goes with her wherever she is (home, brownies, weekends away) this is making it so much easier for us as we can grab and go knowing we can deal with an episode if one occurs.
I am going to purchase a further small Medpac for my son who uses medication at home on a daily basis. This is so we have a safe place to keep this all together when he stays away from home.
